Parapanda Folk Festival – Casa Pilar Alto, Illora Welcomes Artists !

The Parapanda Folk Festival in Illora, Granada, Spain, an annual International festival or fiesta of music in Illora, Granada, has come around again and Casa Pilar Alto, Illora is proud to have been chosen to host several of the artists performing at the festival.

Parapanda Folk is well established as one of the prime festivals of music and dance in the region – along with the Andalucia Song Festival in Alhama de Granada.  The artists performing at the 19^th Parapanda Folk festival come from all over Europe – as far afield as Portugal, Germany and Sweden – as well as from all over Spain – from places such as Seville, Salamanca, Murcia and Cordoba.  A group from Cuba – Ferrer son Music - is also performing at this year’s festival - as at the 2008 Festival.
